Apparently, Northern Ireland is the only part of the United Kingdom that doesn't have it's own flag. I get it, historicly speaking, since it became part of the UK at the exact moment it was 'cut off' from Ireland as a whole, by the British government, so it doesn't have any "independent" history before the UK so to speak, unlike Scotland and Wales. The Scots and the Irish have a close relationship that goes back hundreds of years, it's also a Celtic country since Irish colonists brought Gaelic culture to Scotland. Most Scots have Irish ancestors and vice versa. So I'm wondering why they chose to unite with England instead?
